We are officially at the 11th hour.

After months of momentum, visioning, fundraising, and community belief, Laguna Lab is on the verge of signing a 3 year lease for our home at 117 Morris Street. This is a defining moment, not just for us, but for the future of progressive arts, culture, and creative education in Sebastopol.

We now have:

✔︎ A new bank account with Redwood Credit Union

✔︎ A full six months of programming ready to activate

✔︎ A committed team and growing community of creators

All we need is the final 10,000 dollars to secure the space and open the doors.

Laguna Lab is not another venue. It is a creative engine for the region, experimental, interdisciplinary, intergenerational, and wildly alive. Here is what the next six months look like:

• NYE Masquerade Art Ball, the first official public night of Laguna Lab

• Handmade Artist Book Exhibition, showcasing local and Bay Area makers

• February Kids Program Launch with a 1 month indoor mini golf installation exploring the ecology of the Laguna de Santa Rosa

• Bicycle Film Festival, 25th Anniversary, for the first time ever in Sebastopol, paired with a massive activation of local bike culture

• Ongoing figure drawing workshops, artist residencies, and open studio events

• The launch of Laguna Lab Radio, a weekly global sound broadcast

• A grow as we go third place for artists, teens, makers, musicians, and the creatively curious
