A very special night of ’80s music hosted by one of our favorite humans and deepest music obsessives, Keyvan — a longtime mentor, chosen uncle (of Timo’s), vinyl archaeologist, and radio host dating back to his UCSB days in the ’80s.

Keyvan has spent a lifetime digging, listening, collecting and sharing music. His stories run deep, as do the crates — including the legendary experience of interviewing The Cure during his radio days.

For this night, he’s bringing those crates to the Laguna Lab dance floor.

Joining him are selectress FinaCuerpo, a kindred vinyl selector with an exquisite ear, and local Kumbia Oscura genre-pusher DJ Nadie (Glitter & Goth)

Expect a wide-open journey through the sounds of the ’80s: The Cure, Prince, Talking Heads and other beloved classics, alongside obscure cuts, extended versions, unexpected remixes and rare gems that may be completely new to your ears.

A night for people who really love records— and for anyone who simply wants to lose themselves on a dance floor with good music and good people.
